{Montana Bride Featured Wedding} | Alacia + Parker | Glasgow, MT

In true Montana style, we went from lovely spring weather to 30° and snow. Fortunately we have this delightful summer wedding to warm our hearts on this chilly day. Alacia and Parker are high school sweethearts and brought their loved ones together for a completely charming Eastern Montana affair. One Oak Photography was there to capture their beautiful day and we're totally smitten. You can see the rest of their wedding right here.

From the bride... Parker and I are high school sweethearts. We graduated from Glasgow High School then dated long distance for four years due to Parker being in the Air Force and me attending the University of Montana. At Parker’s 21st birthday party, he surprised all of our friends and myself by proposing! It was perfect for us to be surrounded by so many of our wonderful friends. Our big day was about two years later on July 17, 2015. Our wedding was a large celebration of our future life together that emphasized our journey through long distance and our love for our family and friends. Our ‘first look’ was in front of our former high school, which was a perfect full circle setting of our life together. The Scottie dog in front of the school even made an appearance in a few of the shots! We had a letter writing ceremony rather than a traditional unity ceremony. We asked those closest to us to write letters and then during the ceremony we wrote our own letter to one another. We then placed them in a handmade box that we read when we moved into our first home. This ceremony was very close to our hearts due to the vast quantity of letters we have written over the years. The day was filled with wind, love and so much dancing. We were blessed with so much help for our big day.

  2. Working with this florist was amazing because while I was absolutely happy to receive suggestions, I did have a vision for a color palette and Bouquets style and they didn't just deliver on my vision, they made it better.
