This October wedding has our hearts... from the gorgeous setting to the adorable newlywed canoe ride, or the stunning florals to the bridal party outfitted in their best hats and boots. It's top to bottom gorgeous (it certainly doesn't hurt that the beautiful bride is a wedding planner herself). We're glad that Cali Frankovic was there to capture this romantic fall affair so we can share it with you in the 2016 issue of Montana Bride magazine.
From the bride... Jared and I originally met in 2012 at a wedding I was helping to coordinate. The day was such a blur that we barely recall our first meeting. Two years later, I ran into that bride (who had now become a great friend) at another wedding I was coordinating. She told me about this great guy who happened to be a groomsmen at their wedding, and how we would be great together! I agreed to let her give him my number. Two weeks later, Jared drove down to Bozeman to take me on our first date, and less than a year after that we were engaged!
Jared and I share a lot of passions, one of which is riding horses. On a beautiful Sunday morning in May, we took a ride together into the Mission Mountains. After a few hours, we stopped at a creek to take a break and to my complete surprise, he proposed! It was absolutely perfect. When we started planning our wedding, Jared and I discussed what was most important for our wedding day. We wanted it to be meaningful, simple, yet beautiful and FUN! I had always envisioned having my wedding in a church followed by a gorgeous barn reception. We couldn’t have picked a more perfect weekend in October. Our ceremony was so beautiful and intimate, and it was followed by one heck of a shindig that included a live country band, delicious BBQ, and homemade pie. We included a lot of personal touches that made our wedding special and unique to us. Jared worked incredibly hard building rustic furniture and centerpieces from old barn wood we found on my family’s ranch. We also included antiques from both of our families. Everything turned out exactly how we imagined, and I wouldn’t change a thing.
