Heather + John {Featured Montana Bride Wedding}

This wedding epitomizes one of the traits that makes Montana such an incredible place, a true sense of community.  We love weddings where the community gathers around the couple in what is both a celebration of the couple's love, but just as much a celebration of the love and connection to the people and place around them.  Montana is an incredible place and a big part of what makes it so wonderful are the people that call it home!

We were married at our family ranch in Big Timber, MT on July 7th.  What made my wedding so amazing was just how really personal it was.  I hand made all the decorations, my husband cut the slabs of wood for our centerpieces, my best friend made our cupcakes and cake (her mother did the bridal party hair and her sister took care of the flowers!), one of my sister's did make-up, my mother-in-law made all of the food, my father-in-law was our officiate, we roasted a local pig, and even used our chicken's eggs in the cake.  All of our friends and family helped us set it up the night before.  Everyone that attended had pitched in to help make my dreams become reality.  Everything about it was amazing and completely represented us, and our life we have built together.  Really it felt like friends and family gathering like we usually do, this time it was just for a different reason.  That day was absolutely perfect and we are so happy to be able to share out wedding day photos with you.

  1. Jill Moore is such an AMAZING photographer! If I didn't insist on her being my bridesmaid I would have had her shooting pictures....but I love her too much and had to have her there standing with me on the best day of my life! She did my bridal portraits and our engagement pictures and I was so proud of the work she does. Love you Jilly Bean!
