{Montana Bride Feature Wedding} Lia + Timothy | Ennis, MT

9    The bride is from a small town in Montana and the groom is from the big city of Detroit, Michigan.  In 2010, Timothy and Lia met in Denver where they both attended college. They shared an immediate love of the outdoors, travel and small adventures. Two years later they packed up a U-Haul and moved to Spokane, WA with their two dogs. They were engaged during their first trip to Seattle together. Tim took Lia on many new adventures to the Public Market, the Space Needle, the original Starbucks and Bainbridge Island. Tim proposed on the Ferry to Bainbridge Island and he was clever enough to have a stranger capture the whole thing on camera! After Lia said “Yes!” Tim was so excited that he promptly locked his keys in the car... It was a perfect day.

The wedding was a beautiful afternoon event under the big Montana sky. All the decorations were simple and handmade. Beautiful paper flowers accented the tables and vintage picture frames were hung in the apple orchard. The centerpieces featured ombre blue and yellow pinecones painted by the bride and her bridesmaids. All of the food was prepared family style by friends, mothers and grandmothers. The bride and groom exchanged hand written vows under an old apple tree in front of 100 guests at the brides childhood home. The ceremony was short and non-denominational, performed by a friend of the couple.
