We met through our wonderful friends, Molly &
Brendan. These two were relentless in getting us together. Brendan's insistent
matchmaking payed off and we began dating. We both have golden retrievers and
they instantly fell in love. We knew from then on we could never separate them.
We worked opposite schedules, Travis working restaurant hours and Kelsey as a
social worker during the days. We fell in love over hikes with our dogs, Finley
and Tucker. Travis would "run errands" and meet Kelsey for a quick
outing.
We wanted to keep our wedding simple and
personal. We had our best friends marry us, friend and sister-in-law bake the
cakes and cookies, Travis designed the invitations, signs and menu, and all of
our friends and family pitched in to lend and hand. Our brothers and dogs
served as our wedding party which made it extra special and light
hearted.
We wanted our wedding to be a fun party for all our friends and family to enjoy. Kelsey grew up going to her family cabin on Flathead lake. We had folks travel from all over the country so Flathead Lake only seemed like the best place due to its beauty and our love of the mountains and lake. Our out of town guests were blown away by the beauty of Flathead Lake.
