Moving to England together early on was very good for our
relationship because both weekends to European capitals and dark nights in the
front of our thatched roof cottage’s fireplace tend to be very romantic. Our
memories of this time will be of small dinner parties in our cozy kitchen and
long walks through Paris, Brugge, Stockholm, and Budapest.
Our families traveled from Washington, DC, and San
Francisco, CA, and our friends came from New York, Ohio, England, and Kenya, so
we planned a Friday evening welcome barbeque for all guests at the Popstand in
Livingston and encouraged them to stick around for the July Fourth Livingston
Roundup Rodeo to cap off the whole weekend. It was a blast. Heavy thunderstorms
in the days preceding the long weekend cleared the air and painted the sky with
Montana’s signature popcorn clouds.
We loved our Montana wedding because the land does half the
work for you. Our wedding was comfortable and convenient while being fancy and
gorgeous without additional effort. Our guests traveled from far and near but
left with a piece of Montana in their hearts, from the people and places they
saw both before, during, and after the Michael Steffi event of 2017.
